In Eden God gave Adam dominion to name and subdue, but that was lost at the fall. More importantly, Adam and Eve lost intimate connection with God and with one another at the fall. Jesus came to reestablish our connection and therefore our dominion and calls us to rule and reign with him. He doesn’t miss one little detail in his redemption of all things being made new.
