Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 was truly an incredible experience. Besides being very lucky to present as a Podcast on the Holonet News Stage, I was very privileged to be invited to host another very important panel on the Fan Stage! As many listeners know, we here at Triad advocate strongly for representation in media and in Star Wars, and for this panel the topic was extremely important to us: The Importance of LatinX Representation in Star Wars! With three leads of some of the main Star Wars shows being Latinx, what does it mean for our representation currently and going forward? It was truly memorable experience and I was very lucky to be joined on the stage with some other amazing members of our community including Kari Guerrero (EstarGuarsTía), Danielle Schwertner, and Rafael Moyamayor. There insight was incredibly valuable and this conversation was very meaningful to me (and hopefully all those in attendance).
