Krys opens up in Dublin with the story Black Dog Prison and the Dolocher. Black Dog Prison was the main  debtor’s prison in Dublin originally in the Newhall Market now known as the Cornmarket. The conditions in this prison were abysmal and it was a for profit prison. The prison terms were dictated by the owners of the debt, you see how this could be a very bad thing? A debtor’s prison that you could RENT a bed at? Um, I’ll pass. Apparently a prisoner named Olocher committed suicide before he was scheduled, cue curse here. Guards attacked, a disappearing guard, and a black demon pig attacking women ensued. Massive pig slaughter happened and then just like the guard they disappeared. Enter the blacksmith wearing a woman’s cloak. The Dolocher chose poorly with this victim as promptly whooped the Dolocher’s ass.  Next up we have the Hellfire Club, both Dublin’s and the one in the UK. Despite the Stan Worshipping rumors, it was a place to act badly for men, like playing cards on Sundays, and whoring. The spooky and weirdness came later. The Hellfire Cave in West Wycombe is the notorious spot that is seem in most of the ghost hunting shows. It’s been covered by many podcasts as well. The Dublin chapter made a very poor choice of locale, William Conolly the original owner and builder was not the brightest crayon in the box. Building on a grave and using the grave stones as part of the building just seems like a poor choice to me. All of the ghost stories are here too, you just gotta listen to learn them. Oh, I did I mention the streaking priest?
