If you're on social media, you hopefully see a lot of Star Trek fan art on your feeds. But what about taking that fan art and turning it into a profession? This week's guest is here to tell us all about it.

Kavita Maharaj is fully licensed by Paramount to create Star Trek paintings, combining two of her many lifelong passions. Growing up in the Caribbean, it was kismet that introduced Kavita to Star Trek, but it was her art that brought her to Canada to pursue painting as her life's work. We learn how Kavita turned a hobby into becoming an officially licensed painter of Star Trek, discusses the artists she loves, along with her extensive lifelong journey with Yoga and how that influences her paintings, and breaks down how a piece gets made both technically and spiritually. Plus, why Kavita believes Spock is actually a Yoga master!
