Well, it was an absolutely fantastic conference, but you sure are glad to be home! It's funny though... thinking back on it, the best part of the whole trip was probably when you were listening to the newest episode of your favorite irreverent Star Trek podcast on the way there! In fact, you were so engrossed in the fascinating insights on the acceptability of empathic contact highs, the consideration of strangely lacking long-term effects of traumatic and invasive extreme mental re-conditioning, and the loveable long-standing abuse of the Irish, that you barely even noticed when that weird van with what appeared to be... Australian license plates that said "NORTH AMERICAN" on them(?) passed at shockingly high speed and then just as quickly slammed on the brakes right in front of you! Thank goodness you were able to stop in time, though those jerks immediately accelerated off again before you even had the chance to lay on the horn.... didn't they? It's strange, it all seems to get a bit fuzzy there... must have been the adrenaline. Anyway, you're home now, refreshed and ready to get back to your true passion: telling [MAKING] everyone enjoy that new and amazing episode of Trek TV! All must listen. All must enjoy.
