13:54 - SNW Spock vs TOS Spock, and how Spock's current outbursts renders his small facial cues irrelevant compared to TOS Spock.

18:44 - SNW didn't end on a great note, though the show is good overall, just not a great season finale. And if you come into SNW having not seen TOS then it stands up better.

22:08 - What is Kirk's past in the prime timeline?

26:07 - How about this shitty STFC game? Incursions.

32:42 - RisingPhoenix notes they added CS reps and support staff before incursions which doesn't bode well.

35:47 - Techman16 wonders if you'll be able to PM players on the other server during incursions. The answer is yes. I speak from the fuuuuutuuuurrrrrrrreee!

39:29 - Someone from 34 is trying to recruit players from server 31. That's...not how that works.

43:00 - People would clamor for a baby Jellyfish! And ISS Jellyfish talk.

49:50 - Darius gives his incursion take, and Techman16 is adorably optimistic about their chances (they do not win).

51:30 - Back to Orville talk! Excellent sci-fi according to Techman16 and Darius.

53:07 - Techman16 needs to know why Handy thought Babylon 5 is bad? And then Darius says some stupid, stupid, stupid stuff about Firefly.

59:15 - We'll talk Orville next week, but also...right now! And Seth Macfarlane is clearly a sci-fi nerd. And Boom does NOT edit that out.

1:01:51 - Thoughts on SNW's Kirk from Darius, and the SNW finale 'Balance of Error'.

1:08:12 - Handy and StrangeKirk bail when the nerd talk happens.

1:08:55 - StrangeKirk is a porn snob, and Techman16 feels the Star Trek porn really pays homage to the original series. Should have seen THAT coming.

1:10:33 - Things are becoming clearer...

1:15:05 - Please explain 'carefully ethnic'. And no, Boom is not cutting this part out.

1:18:36 - But there ARE rules here! And more more more sci-fi shows talk.

1:26:03 - Bob Lazar is a good interview, and Joe Rogan has a good interview with him (it's worth it even if you HATE Joe Rogan).

1:31:04 - Tech and Darius do NOT confuse me, though I wonder if we're more likely to generate a 'warp field' by rather than simply counteracting gravity, counteracting most of it by identifying how (presupposing it exists) we counter the impact of dark matter. Given that we are relatively certain there is something non-luminous granting significant mass (and therefore gravity).



And while we're at it, why do people always screw up infinity? It's the Rick and Morty effect, they say infinite universes and then "in some of those there's..." and begin to reduce it down to "we can do this a few times". But infinity is infinite, it does not reduce. Therefore if there are infinite universes then instead of "in some of those there's..." it should be "in infinite of those there's...".
