In this episode I talk about some recent videos I made for the Trapping Today Youtube channel, including preserving meat with salt for trapping bait, rotting down some meat for a lure base, and spring strength on 330 Conibears that have had their springs compressed for probably 20 years. I briefly go over how the recent Fur Harvesters auction went, and discuss dealer options for purchasing copies of my new book, Fur Profit, for resale. I then go into a discussion about becoming a writer in the trapping industry, the challenges involved, and the writers who inspired me as a young trapper, especially Bob Gilsvik. I briefly discuss the concept of 'trapping like a kid' and one of the articles I've submitted to a magazine surrounding the idea. I provide a review of the book "Commercial Standards for the Marketing of Wild Fur, and also review Clint Locklear's DVD, "Serious Money Making Strategies". Enjoy!
