Danielle chats about her journey to the Rio Olympics in 2016, and the challenges of participating in a sport not frequently discussed on the weekends. Her ups and downs have proved through perseverance, the human body is capable of incredible things. All of these twists and turns have led to the upcoming release of her book ‘The Unlikely Olympian’, which hits newsstands later this month. The accomplished Canadian/Australian athlete is gearing up for the FINA World Championships in South Korea in a matter of days (19th July), where she’ll compete in the Mixed Duet competition. We wish Danielle good luck in her last major competition!
