This episode is a conversation between Jason and one of his oldest, dearest friends and a fellow veteran of the west coast punk scene of the early 80's, Martin Sprouse. They talk about the abundance of talented artists associated with the 'Slow Death' punk scene of the late 70's/early 80's as exemplified by influential figures like Shawn Kerri and Mad Marc Rude. They go on to discuss other important figures in the generation of SD punks that came just before their own. Of course it wouldn't be an episode about SD punk in the early 80s without sharing stories of the violence and mayhem that were an integral part of the experience of that era.
