Luke attempts to prove the relevancy of his folkloric knowledge by using it to analyze the lore of Pokemon! 🤣

As today is the release date of the new games Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, we have decided to exploit the popularity of our favorite game franchise by discussing the intricate folkloric and biological motifs present throughout its character design and world building.

Animism, ecology, yokai, fairy lore, ghost stories, cursed music, even child death... and subsequent resurrection! All of this and more, from an innocent media mogul you believed is just for little kids!
