Yesterday, in a major First Amendment case on student speech, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 8-1 in favor of a high school cheerleader, who was suspended for using explicit language on her social media.

The Court also ruled yesterday that police cannot always enter a home without a warrant when pursuing someone for a minor crime.

Important cases are being decided right now as we near the end of the Supreme Court’s current session.

The justices contended with shifting the court’s shifting dynamics and will 82-year Justice Stephen Breyer be stepping down anytime soon?
