For the full hour, we talk with singer, composer, and actor, Lyle Lovett, who joins us to discuss his celebrated career in music, including how he got his big break in the 80s and going on to win four Grammy Awards.

We also hear details of how he got into acting despite being known for his music career, particularly through his collaborations with acclaimed American filmmaker Robert Altman.

Lovett also discusses his creative process in creating his new album “12th of June,” named after the birth date of his two children. The album fuses and incorporates elements of jazz, country, western swing, folk, gospel, and blues.

He also shares details of his current 2023 tour where he will be performing with his acoustic group. They will be live at The Grand 1894 Opera House on February 15-16, 2023. For tickets and more information, click here.
