Switzerland kicked off their World Cup campaign with a hard fought 1-0 victory against Cameroon, Uruguay were stifled to a goalless draw by an extremely well organised South Korea team. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo once again made history as Portugal came out 3-2 victors against Ghana and the Samba Boyz kicked off their competition with a 2-0 victory over Serbia.
