TNI | IMPACT Wrestling 1.25.19 Review: Rich History, Rascally Rascalz, and Mexico!

Viva la Mexico! Impact Wrestling is back in Mexico City once again to kick off a stay of tapings that involve a lot of people being angry at each other and gunning for championships. The heat south of the border has everyone fired up but hey, at least the margaritas are cold!

Sami Callihan and Rich Swann's storied past continues to level up more and more. We find a little more about what Sami has been holding over Rich's head but is that enough to make Rich repay the supposed debt he owes Sami?

We had the Impact debut of Melissa Santos in a backstage role to replace the departed McKenzie Mitchell and she did great! She not only interviewed Moose with his crazy Elton John sunglasses alongside Killer Kross but also Jordynne Grace and Keira Hogan with Rosemary making her eerie presence felt!

Taya Valkyrie was in action and quickly disposed of Keyra but made sure to call out the recently suspended Tessa Blanchard. When will these two clash again? How does Gail Kim fit in?

The Rascalz party in Mexico the only way they know how but AFTER the partying is done backstage they are in action against The Desi Hit Squad! Was the hot fire flame enough to take out Chacha Gama Singh's hit squad?
Scarlett Bordeaux makes her in-ring debut in 3 weeks! Set those DVR's gentlemen!

Ethan Page took on Trey Miguel in a singles match in a classic David vs. Goliath matchup that allowed Page to showcase his adaptability to the X-Division style even more!
In the most anticipated match of the night, Killer Kross got his shot against Johnny Impact for the Impact World Heavyweight Championship and this match did not disappoint from the brutality scale! Kross was out for blood but not on Brian Cage's watch! The title picture is stacked with all targets on Johnny. What can the champion do to withstand this onslought?
