Diamonds are a girl’s best friend - this saying is also applicable to our pelvic floor. Our pelvic floor looks like a diamond. To give you a better visual, your spine is one point of the diamond. Across it is your pelvic bone. Your muscles end up making a diamond shape. You might not be tapping into the optimal function of your pelvic floor. However, one of the best ways to understand the relationship between your pelvic bone and your posture and having a strong core is a zipper. The zipper starts from your pelvic floor, up to the lower belly, and stops at the top of your head. Everything in your body is connected; hence everything you do affects it all.
