174: Luxury Toronto Real Estate vs COVID with HGTV Star Rizwan Malik

We had the pleasure of speaking with Rizwan Malik. Selling swanky suites and homes to satisfy and serve – say that ten times fast. That’s what realtor extraordinaire Rizwan Malik does every day in his job, and the roots go far back. As a teenager, he worked at a pet shop where not only did his love of animals grow, but his selling skills did, too. And that passion for sales and innate go-getter spirit only continued to flourish throughout his life. Rizwan moved to Toronto in 1994, long before Drake dubbed the city “The 6ix.” While completing his bachelor’s degree in Commerce at Ryerson University, Rizwan earned his real estate license and eventually was named the youngest Vice President of Sales ever at Sotheby's International Realty Canada. If that wasn’t noteworthy enough, in 2020 Rizwan's charm, charisma, and extensive expertise in real estate saw him cast as one of the hosts on HGTV Canada’s Hot Market where he helped affluent clientele find their dream homes.
