(Jan 21, 2020) In the fall of 2005, a rash of burglaries frightened residents and perplexed law enforcement in Brant Lake, a southeastern Adirondack hamlet. At the time, Jim LaFarr was a sergeant supervising the detectives unit of the Warren County Sheriff's Office. The burglaries kicked off an investigation that lasted over two years, and ended with the capture of the "Brant Lake Mountain Man."
