(Mar 25, 2020) Catherine Brownell is 24, and grew up in Canton and Potsdam. In September of 2019, she was hired by the Spanish government to work as a language assistant, and moved to Valencia, Spain.
She was teaching until Valencia quarantined on Monday, March 16. Catherine is currently quarantined with a roommate in her apartment in Valencia. She's been listening to NCPR to feel connected to home. Catherine sent us a recording of a nightly ritual that's happening in Valencia right now.
