Here in the North Country, school districts have been riddled with short and extended closures since the beginning of the school year.

The Boquet Valley Central School District, which serves kids in Essex County, was one of the first - they went remote for the first five weeks of school. That was because of a COVID-19 outbreak at the Essex Center nursing home in Elizabethtown.
