Tone Madison and ALL present a performance from the powerful avant-jazz outfit.

We'd like to invite you to the one live event we are putting on this spring: a performance from New York band Elder Ones, on March 31 at Arts + Literature Laboratory. You can hear Elder Ones' fierce and inventive approach to avant-garde jazz on two excellent albums, 2016's Holy Science and 2019's From Untruth. On this stop of the band's Midwest tour, the lineup will be: Amirtha Kidambi (vocals, harmonium, synthesizer, compositions), Matt Nelson (soprano saxophone), Eva Lawitts (bass), Max Jaffe (drums and electronic sensory percussion).

Proof of vaccination is required for entry and face masks will be required inside. Tickets, on sale now, are $18 in advance ($15 for students, Tone Madison Sustainers, and Art + Lit Lab members; discounts are available only through the online presale under the "Advance Student/Member" price) and $20 at the door.

We're looking forward to enjoying this show safely with you and will post updates if there are any Covid-related changes.
