Half-Stack Sessions and Tone Madison are teaming up this September to present Infamous Local Fest. It's a weekend-long program of music and workshops that showcase Madison's music community and enrich it with practical, hands-on help.

The inaugural IL kicks off Friday, September 20 at The Winnebago with music from Gender Confetti, LINE, DJ Quinley, and Leslie Damaso with Mr. Chair. There is a discount on admission for Tone Madison Sustainers.

On Saturday, September 21, things move over to Communication for a day of workshops:

Musician, activist, and journalist Jes Skolnik will lead a session on bystander intervention tactics.

Ellie Erickson and Koriana Kent will lead a workshop on maintaining amps and guitars.

Musicians will have the chance to work with local artists to create some custom-made buttons that they can take away as merch.

There will also be a workshop on operating a PA and DJ gear.

More details to come shortly on a Saturday night show at Communication.

Finally, on Sunday, September 22, Communication will host a record sale and a series of live recording sessions. Artists can sign up for the latter using this form.
