We start off discussing why a lot of legacy media companies will be gone this decade and the difficult decision they’ll have to make to survive. Ian then shares his crazy experience going to an Akon concert that ended with Akon having to do 100 hours of community service in Upstate New York. Reed then tells a story about the time he ran into Burna Boy in the Daily Show’s bathroom backstage. We then get into Burna Boys’ masterpiece of an album “Twice As Tall” and the VR concert he’ll be doing soon! Also, Drake recently said that he thinks Certified Lover Boy will be received the same way Views was and that fans are going to have to grow with the album to truly appreciate it. Reed then explains why he thinks people mislabel Drake as a “Culture Vulture” because they don’t understand Toronto’s culture. After that we react to the news that Joe Biden may put the US into another 6 week national lockdown and if this is the right move. We then finish off the show with tons of NBA talk, from the season starting so soon, Russel Westbrook wanting to play for the Knicks, and deciding if James Harden is a good teammate.
