Episode 6 - Happy birthday Queen of Purls

This episode we're all about celebrations, cake and yarn as one of our favourite yarn stores, The Queen of Purls, turns two!

We've our usual mini drinks reviews- Pip's got a cheeky wee merlot, whilst Cia attempts to tackle beer with varying levels of success.

In On and Off the Needles, we talk about our latest projects and finished objects. Pip's been having a cracking time working on her Tesserae, whilst Cia has acquired a teensy weensy sock addiction. We also talk about K.M Bedigan's latest release- the beautiful Cascadian shawl.

Usual business aside, we recount the Queen of Purls' birthday bash. For those of you who have yet to visit the lovely Zoe in her wonderful shop, do check out her website and take a trip down to Glasgow's Saltmarket. The shelves are full of beautiful yarns, delicious fibres, and fantastic notions. Naturally, there's some squeeing and yarn purchasing to share with you all.

Finally, we chat about what we have to look forward to- there's lots of yarn-related goodness on the horizon for summer.
