The Radio Career of Jimmy Stewart
Jimmy Stewart has said that radio was his favorite medium after the
movies. His radio career spanned seven decades, from his performance in
only one scene of Yellow Jack in 1934 to his It's a Thankful Life
Thanksgiving special which aired on November 22, 1990. Perhaps the radio
show Jimmy Stewart appeared on most frequently was the Lux Radio
Theater. His first appearance on that program was in June 1937.
