WWE SummerSlam 2005

It’s always Icon vs. Icon when JR and Mikey square off on TLD, but it has a little extra sizzle when Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels do battle at Summerslam 2005. John Cena has his first test as face of the company as he defends the WWE Title against Ayatollah of Rock n’ Rona Chris Jericho. Batista puts his title on the line against JBL and it’s No Holds Barred - Bradshaw probably ain’t impervious to pain. We got Taker and Orton, Olympic Badass Angle, and an Edge/Matt Hardy shoot fight. Or something. Oh, and we have CUSTODY PAPERS ON A POLE as Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio go at it in a ladder match for Dominick. Because sure. McMahon for President? Why not?
