Today on the Tim DeMoss Show, first up, Dr. Ian Smith, shares about his brand new book, The Met Flex Diet: Burn Better Fuel, Burn More (April 4th, 2023). The book explores how losing weight is not just about burning calories. He offers a six-week plan to improve metabolic flexibility through changing the types and amounts of food and beverages that are consumed, as well as the type of exercise. 

Also joining us on the show, Raul Ries, heard weekdays at 1030am with "Somebody Loves You" on WFIL. He will be the keynote speaker at WFIL's Pastors Appreciation Breakfast on Thursday May 25. Ries is the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Golden Springs in Diamond Bar, California, and President of Somebody Loves You Ministries. Pastor Ries is also a Vietnam veteran, an 8th degree Black Belt in Kung Fu San Soo, teaches Kung Fu, and uses martial arts as a ministry tool.
