They say first impressions are everything, and we sure get a great one of our main male lead! (Just kidding. Too much blood.)
Earlier in the day, Lauren goes on a date with a douchebag. Kym saves her with clownery, and the newsboy reminds Lauren of what it is that haunts her. Kym tries to distract her, but when Lauren gets home, we learn more about the train bombing that upended her life.
Lauren then receives a phone call about an emergency near her and heads out.
