Purple Hyacinth 86: Dazzling Demoiselle (with Fwoot and Rin)

What an episode! We open with the Sinclair's New Year's Party. Lauren doesn't seem too keen on parties, but plays the gracious hostess.   

Stephan and Will come in, looking dashing, and Stefan and Tristan exchange compliments, some true, some merely polite.   

As Rin would have it, the magnificent and inimitable Dakan arrives, and we discover a sweet and surprising connection.  

Lauren finally tries to eat, only to spot, through the arms of the sandwich "thief," an undesirable element from the recent past.  

She then grabs some cups, the meaning of which we relate to the tarot cards and speculate about, and converses with Dakan. 

Dakan, Tristan, and Stefan then engage in a highly allusive and shaded conversation, while we desperately try to understand their meaning.  And finally, to Fwoot's extreme joy, we have a late arrival to the party... the mysterious and stunning Darcy.
