Lauren finds herself on the other side of the interrogation, where Hermann predictably is suspicious of Lauren. March comes to her defense, and Lauren is let off relatively easy.  We discuss Lauren's ambivalence over her choice to "make a deal with the devil," and contrast her willingness to dive into murky moral territory with Hermann's rigid rule-following ways.

Meanwhile, Kieran decides to do some digging of his own, discovering what it was that triggered Lauren a year ago.  Back in the patrol room, tensions are high.

We discuss Will and his key personality characteristics. The fear raised about Will was first heard on the wonderful podcast The Webtoon Room, in one of their Purple Hyacinth episodes.

We end with an unexpected visit from Kieran offering Lauren a precious gift.  o
