Purple Hyacinth 8: Challenging Choice (with Hadzy and Meg)

Our perceptive Kym picks up on Lauren's distress over Hermann's chewdown.  

We learn that Lauren doesn't use her uncle's position as police chief to gain favor, something that doesn't surprise us, given her independent nature.  Kym also claims she won't "terrorize the poor sods," only to do exactly that, giving us a new respect for her.  

We learn more about the Ardhalis police department and their motto, and see that Will too, is a perceptive friend. Either that or Lauren is easy to read.  

A crowd begins to gather to hear a man's inflammatory words about the Purple Hyacinth, and Lauren spots a very familiar face.... smirking back at her.
