As the world marks this day as International Holocaust Remembrance Day (January 27th), it is fitting that this short podcast interview with photographer Danny Weiss makes its appearance here. For the last three years, Danny has photographed 18 men and women who are survivors of The Holocaust. He has done so to celebrate who they are, and more than that who they have chosen to become after their escape from the atrocities in Europe. He found them not brooding their fate, but embracing a new life and thriving, running businesses, raising families, and becoming citizens of their new home in America.
