This week we host, dance photographer, natural bodybuilder, nutritionist, ninjitsu instructor, personal trainer, superhero, and my friend  Kevin Richardson He explains how he came to be a photographer and superhero enthusiast.  A man of many talents.
"... with Dance As Art the idea is threefold. Firstly it is a celebration of the beauty of dance. A tribute to the amazingly talented dancers of New York City. Secondly, it is a reminder of the importance of art as part of what makes New York the city that we know and love. The dancers stand as representatives of all artists, the artists who are the creative soul of our City and without them, there is an emptiness that no new incoming population can fill. Finally, it is a street show. Every photoshoot brings the art of dance back to the people, drawing crowds, sometimes in the hundreds, of spectators who have a chance to see our artists dancing in the streets. Which to me is exactly where they should be. Support the arts, remember the artists, and thanks for taking the time to look at my work."
