The Franklin Expedition has a mysteriously romantic notoriety. Some think Sir John Franklin was a idiot; Karen Ryan, on the other hand, sees him as an unlucky explorer. others see him as an unlucky explorer.
Ryan is a curator at the Canadian Museum of History and was in charge of putting together the current Franklin Exhibit. She was also gracious enough to give us a personal walk-through and insight into one of history's most popular expeditions in the North.
