It’s a double guest week featuring viola player extraordinaire Abby Bowen, and filling in for Seb is friend of the pod and wunderkind violinist Millie Ashton.

Abby chats about how she keeps her playing fresh and stays entertained over a long running show, practising drones, preparing for auditions and letting go of anxieties built up during studies.

They discuss fashion choices, Abby’s Funkey strings days, what lovely people viola players are and the unusual reason she had for taking it up to begin with.
