Our Akira Kurosawa round continues on as we discuss Kurosawa's retelling of one of Shakespeare's most adapted pieces, 'Macbeth'. Changing the setting around 16th-century Japan and with a high level of influence from the Noh style of performance, we are wrapped up in Toshiro Mifune's performance in 'Throne of Blood'.

This week we are joined by Stephen Ford, from the Pub Trivia Experience and Boozy Bracketology podcasts. We chatted about Kurosawa's decision to use Noh acting throughout this movie, the continued greatness of Toshiro Mifune, and modern-day duos can compare to Mifune/Kurosawa.

Join us as we talk about that amazing death scene, put together to our dream double features, and compile our "Shakespeare Adaptation Rushmore Mountains".
