My interview with Kathy Murphy

I interview Kathy Murphy.  Kathy is a High-Performance Coach, an author, a speaker, a mentor a surfer, CEO,  and a singer/songwriter.  She worked as a firefighter, police officer, politician, surfer, leader, coach, and teacher.  Her background in studying the science and philosophy of the mind and human behavior has given me an understanding of who we are as human beings, how we work and how life works.  From walking through her journey and coaching she has witnessed profound shifts occur as people release their grip on controlling what will be and instead synch with life’s natural rhythms and flow.  Kathy deeply believes that it is through harmonizing with what is and developing a presence in each moment that we can access infinite possibilities.

Her mission is to empower individuals to awaken to their truth, without the struggle.  She believes that when we understand our innate power, we master the ability to thrive in all tides and waves of life, and rise up.  Kathy believes that she's an energy shifter, an alchemist of change.  As she puts it "When one rises, everyone rises". "It happens when life energy is felt inside".  Kathy's fearless, unstoppable attitude no matter what life waves hit her, coupled with her studies in science, psychology, and philosophy of the mind, led her to create The Rising Tide.

Kathy has helped so many to create a new level of fearless freedom in themselves, leaving stress, worry, and anxious thinking behind. She designed a simple system: Know Go Flow, anchored in her background surfing the ocean, and life waves she takes people from doubt to knowing, stuck to go, and fear to flow.

Yahoo Finance named Kathy one of the 10 Most Powerful Women of 2021 and as one of the Top 10 Mentors of 2020 New York Weekly named Kathy as one of the Top 20 People to Follow on Instagram in 2020, and she has been featured on national TV and Radio.
