It Is Written

A very good morning to you!
It is your friend Angus Buchan on 24th March, Tuesday 2020.

Today, The Lord has laid a very special scripture on my heart for you and for me, and it is taken from Matthew Chapter 4 and we are reading from verse 3:
“Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”
How did The Lord answer?”
He said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.' "

I am sensing a lot of Christians are wavering in their faith at this time because of the continual onslaught of this commentary from all over the world about this virus.
We acknowledge it.
We do not disregard it.
We take every precaution that we are told to take but at the end of the day, it is the Word of God that will protect you and your household.
The Lord Jesus Christ could have told the devil to get lost because He is God but He didn’t. He quoted scripture.

He said, “It is written…”
Verse 7: “Jesus said to him, "It is written 'You shall not tempt the LORD your God.'

Then again Jesus said to him in verse 10: "Away with you, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.'"
And then verse 11: “Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.”

My dear friend, I really want to encourage you to minister to your loved ones the undiluted Word of God. That is what sets you free.

“The Lord is my helper. Who shall I fear? What can man do unto me?”
Hebrews 13 and verse 6.

And build yourself up in the inner man with The Word because Jesus is The Word.

So until tomorrow, continue to walk by faith and to use God’s Holy Word as your sword.
