Mark Chapter 16 and verse 6:

But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. (Verse 7) “But go, tell His disciples - and Peter - that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”

And then Verse 15:

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

He is risen. Our Savior is not in the tomb. He has been raised from the dead and because of that, you and I have a guarantee of eternal life.

My dear friend, the most glorious day in the Christian Calendar, Resurrection Sunday!

I want to just share a thought with you.

Do you notice in verse 7, he says, “But go and tell his disciples - and Peter…”

Oh, I love Jesus so very much this morning!

“…and Peter -…”

Why did he say that?

I will tell you why he said that because Peter felt totally unworthy.

He had denied his Saviour three times and he probably thought, “There is no more chance for me. I am condemned forever.”

But no, …”Tell my disciples and Peter…” The Lord loves you my dear friend and He loves me, so much that He died for us.

All we need to do is to say sorry, to repent, to get up and dust ourselves off and continue running the race that is set before us, looking up to Jesus, the Author and the Perfecter of our faith.

May God bless you on this beautiful day and remember, God has given us an obligation and He has given us a work to do and that is to go into the world and tell every person that Jesus Christ is not dead. He is alive and furthermore, He is coming back very, very soon for His bride.

You don’t have to be an evangelist.

You could be a businessman, a farmer, a sportsman, a school teacher, you can be a student, you can be a street-sweeper - and tell the people, He is alive, He is not dead and He came for sinners like Peter and like you and myself.

Until tomorrow, God bless you and have a glorious Resurrection Sunday.
