Through the Book of Acts in the Bible, evangelists proclaimed the gospel of Jesus mostly to those were already devout believers of God who accepted the Jewish Scriptures. In Acts 18, a woman and her husband pull aside an eloquent speaker who teaches about Jesus accurately but his teaching about baptism is not accurate. Furthermore, another preacher will teach twelve men about another baptism than what they received. This message is relevant to those considering their baptism in comparison to the baptism that Jesus commanded to become a disciple of Christ.
