Episode 30 - Connery's Corner

We hate that we have to say this in the year 2020, but don't be a jerk. Baseball should be a fun, open, and inclusive place, but some stuff happened this week that ran pretty counter to those ideals. Cincinnati Reds announcer Thom Brennaman used an anti-gay slur live on the air during a broadcast and was rightly punished for it by losing his job. In Texas, the Rangers acted like crybabies over Fernando Tatis Jr. having some fun and the gods of baseball punished them with eight losses in a row.

On the more fun side of things, it's almost the trade deadline! Some teams are already wheeling and dealing this week, with interesting results! We're not sure if these are good trades, or if the trades are bad and they should feel bad.

Then things get completely off the rails. Let's talk DC Comics movies, because why not?
