Two men in our family have gone through a significant life change recently. They are lucky that they get to do it together.
We found out in mid 2018 that our son Caloway, our 5 (almost 6 year old), has mild to moderate hearing loss and needed hearing aids. It was a shock at first, but one that changed Caloway's life for the better. As we learned more about Caloway's diagnosis and that it was likely hereditary we started looking at ourselves and if we also had hearing issues.
