Wayne is one of those guys I’ve looked up to for a long time, and a great example of positive reinvention. They say “Do what you love,” and he’s certainly done that with stand-up. What they should also say is “Study the history of what you love.” Wayne has a podcast, and now a book, called “The History of Standup.” We talked about the art, how it’s affected our lives, the history, and even my old scene full of bozos back in Chicago. Wayne is so fun. Great episode!
