Episode 11

In this episode I was blessed enough to get former bank regulator, now financial director Nina Qualls-Mendoza, and Tonya Love District Director.  I can't lie, I was a bit disheartened by the results from this past Tuesday's primaries.  What I hated most was the narrative the Bernie Sanders doesn't connect with black voters, while Joe Biden, a man who has a HORRIBLE RECORD with the black community is the go to choice because he was VP under Obama.  Hearing that same story over and over again, on mainstream media, I know that the casual black voter might even start to believe. it. We often hear, "People want a return to normalcy".  What is "normalcy" under a Biden presidency; especially when he was a part of the administration that gave us Trump? We also discuss black women's role in leading radical movements.

“Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic. Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands against love.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.
