Ep. 13 - We Almost Got Evicted: Part 2

Once again Congress has let another COVID relief measure expire. As of July 31, 2021 the CDC's eviction moratorium expired, opening millions of American's up to the threat of eviction as the Delta variant grows. Cori Bush and the Squad with some help from Bernie Sanders, swooped in to put pressure on Biden but we aren't entirely impressed by the late action. We open up about our own experience facing eviction and what the confusing and terrifying process is like and how tenants could slip through the cracks with the pandemic putting pressure on an already broken system.
