This week, we have the first of a special multi-episode interview with deep cuts horror filmmaker Gary Sherman. This is the guy who made the last great practical effects film, Poltergeist III, showcased actor Donald Pleasence six years before Halloween in the subway cannibal film Deathline and also made of the best zombie film you've never heard of, Dead & Buried.

In this first episode, Andrew asks Gary what drew him to horror, how he gets so through so many set-ups in one shooting day, his method for directing actors and how to use very long tracking shots as a storytelling device.

As always, subscribe to follow us as we work our way through the tips, tricks and set stories of cast and crew working in horror filmmaking.
