16. Meagan Putts – Life at 6000m Below Sea Level

On today’s show I was super lucky to do a deep-dive into life at 6000 meters below sea level, with Deep-Sea Marine Biologist, Communications specialist, and Remotely Operated Vehicle navigator, Meagan Putts! Meagan is part of a team of researchers at the University of Hawaii, that is building a better understanding of life in the deep oceans, which are still largely unexplored and unknown.

Meagan’s main area of expertise is in deep-sea coral and sponge commnunities, but she clearly has a love for all things oceanic.
