As real estate agents, we tend to wear many different hats in our business. We’re the CEO, accountant, saleperson, marketer, and so much more. As we are wearing all of these hats and heaing up all these roles, we tend to think we need to be all of these people in our business in order for it to be successful. But here’s the secret: unless we’re some kind of genius with endless amounts of time and energy, most likely we’re not going to be the best person for each of those roles. It’s that age old balance of how much are we investing into our business as we’re working for our business which really boils down to the questions: how hard do we want to work, and what is it that we desire for our business?

It's the idea of spending money to make money. We tend to see that working a strategy for our business is going to take a level of success, or funds, or size, which can limit how efficiently we’re able to run our business. But the reality is, as the owners of our own businesses, the more time you’re spending on the back end of your business, the less time that you have being in front of clients. It’s less time actually making the money that we need to grow! On today’s episode, we’re talking about that balance and what it all looks like to be successful and what we feel comfortable doing and what we’re actually good at when structuring the different hats of our business.
