A big part of building legacy as part of success in business is not just about how much you bring in, but what you’re giving back. We’ve talked about giving goals in the past and this week we’re speaking with guests that help expand upon that idea, that giving is not only transactional but can take many different forms, depending on what kind of impact you want to make as part of your specific legacy.
 
This week we have with us Shawn Henss of GivingSole.org to tell us about his nonprofit dedicated to getting good shoes to kids in need, as well as Tim McBride of Wexler Realty who specializes in using real estate to build relationships with charitable organizations. Our conversation focuses not only on what kind of impact these two generous individuals are having on our community, but also how there are so many ways to make a difference.
 
So much of what Thinking OTB is all about is not just being the most successful, or selling the most houses, it’s about making what you do professionally mean something to the community that you live in. Finding ways to give back through organizations like Giving Sole is about creating a legacy of success that is tied to having an impact on the world. Helping your clients with what might be the biggest transaction of their life but also giving them a way to feel a part of the community through charitable organizations that you partner with…well, that kind of community isn’t built with money, but with heart, and that’s what we’re all about.
