Absurd and contradictory beliefs stand as the backbone of our society. From the trade tariffs endorsed by both Trump and Biden, which impose an onerous burden on us, the consumers, to the ethical conundrums of quotas, we're stripping down the rhetoric to expose the raw, often uncomfortable, truth.  We'll also dissect Mayor Eric Adam's dramatic about-face on immigration and his sudden acknowledgment of NYC's limitations.

We're stepping into the murky waters of ethics and pondering on the justifications we provide for our increasingly absurd policies. How do we sleep at night knowing we're backing policies that might be doomed to fail? How will our future selves look back upon the decisions we're making today? Amid the chaos, we're seeking unity, looking for the silver lining, and questioning the consequences of some wildly impractical decisions, like the mass deportation of immigrants or California's gender affirmation law in custody disputes.
