This week I interviewed Emmy award winning comedy writer Mike Rowe! Mike started out as a standup comedian and went on to write for Futurama, Family Guy, Coach, The Nanny, The Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series, The PJs, and many more shows. He recently released one of my favorite books ever about the comedy business called "It's A Funny Thing." We talked about the book, starting out in comedy, working at the original Improv Comedy Club in New York City, Larry David, refereeing for Andy Laufman, transitioning into writing for television, working in a writer's room, how they broke down stories on Futurama, and much more.
